Product range KG 2000 POLYPROPYLEN ®

Sewage pipes and fittings are made from polypropylene, which grants them the ability to resist boiling water and solar radiation. The products conform to the EN 14758-1 standard. Underground installations in locations with higher peak pressures - highway roads, extreme installation depths, locations with high groundwater levels, etc.

Maximal operating temperatures can be found in individual catalogues of waste and sewage systems and sealing.

constant short-term
90°C 95°C

Sealing Area of application- temperatures
SBR (at the producer /within the range of Work) cca. -50°C up to +100°C
EPDM cca. -50°C up to +150°C
NBR (can be ordered separately) cca. -30°C up to +100°C

SBR Improved abrasion resistance and age resistance, good resistance against operating liquids
EPDM Excellent fastness to abrasion, ageing and fastness to most of operating liquids
NBR Versatile material. Sealing for contact with mineral oil or fuels. Poor resistance against ozone and weather resistance.
KG 2000 Polypropylen® (DN 100 - DN 300) according to the standard DIN EN 14758

Our KG-System (PVC)® products are manufactured in classes SN 4 and SN 8, KG 2000 . Polypropylene® products are manufactured in the class SN 8 and MAGNACOR in the class SN8.

We can recommend KG 2000 Polypropylene®, or HT-System (PP) ® with sealing rings made of NBR as the case may be.

There is no fire load from pipes buried in the ground (KG-System (PVC) ® and KG 2000 Polypropylene®). Therefore classification of sewage pipes is not needed.

The sealing of systems BL, DD and Euro L Spezial are resistant against water with maximal volume of chlorine 0,6 mg/l.

„Placement in the area of ground water is possible only if it is ensured that the embankment material is not dislocated and shifted (e.g. embedding the fine gravel in concrete to the filtration layer)".

„During works in the area of ground water it is necessary to ensure that the bearing/supporting layer of placement does not contain water during the construction work implementation."

„The zone of pipework must be protected against each predictable change of bearing capacity, stability or the bed when such change can be a result of the ground water action for example".

Be so kind and contact us if you have doubts about suitability of the sewage piping placement. In such case we will carry out an analysis of structure.

We have the “leak tightness at external over-pressure” test record of the manufacturer of sealing rings at our disposal. The manufacturer is the firm M.O.L. and the test record is dated 14th July 2004). The test was conducted against the external pressure action in the height of 0,5 bar (5m of water column).

No, it cannot.
Among other things, this provision serves for elimination of the backwater formation and formation of retained amount inside the system.

No, it is not. It is not allowed to take the piping of the rain water and sewage water inside the building together. The piping can be directed into the joint piping only outside the buildings (near the connecting channel on the boundary of the property).

The exception will become valid if the border development is concerned. In such case it is permissible that the rain water piping and sewage water piping is drained together inside the building.

The pipes with slide-in sleeves / couplings are usually placed in such manner that the sharp end is in direction of flowing. The sharp end is sliding into the sleeve / coupling.

The quote from Manual of plastic pipes (4th issue, paragraph 3.4.4 Construction of the sewage water channels and piping, page 463)

Thus the piping placement in direction of flowing is clearly defined.

Until now we have not had any special certificate for this purpose of use. Many customers of ours, however, successfully used KG 2000 Polypropylene® as piping of the heat exchanger in ground (in air). However, in each case this is an application for different purposes. If you are interested in this issue you can look at the home page: www.ag-solar.de.

Yes, it is possible. It is possible to implement waste water draining from pumping stations (oils, lubricants, glycol, methane, propane, butane, hydrocarbons, fuel oil, etc.), with the help of both of above-mentioned systems, if NBR sealing is used.

As a branch line to a house, piping buried in ground or the connecting channel and in areas with a large load (SLW 60) the minimal overlapping is 0,8 m.

The highest overlapping: 6 m.

The height of permissible overlapping depends on numerous factors and therefore in case of doubts it is necessary to carry out the analysis of structure with the help of the program specially prepared for such purposes. The technical staff of our firm will be pleased to carry out the analysis of structure for you.
