Product lines KG System®
HIGH DURABILITY, LONG-TERM STABILITY
Production of the KG-System (PVC)® innovated pipes and fittings is based on a unique technology, co-extrusion. This allows us to deliver a product the structure of which resembles that of large bones as we know them from the animal kingdom.
SERVICE LIFE OF UP TO 100 YEARS, RESISTANCE TO CHEMICALS, EXCELLENT HYDRAULIC PROPERTIES
The KG-System (PVC)® is based on unplasticised polyvinylchloride (PVC-U). The result is sewage pipes and fittings with perfectly smooth inner wall surface that is resistant to abrasion, a tough outer layer, which is resistant to all typical materials used for pipe gritting, and a flexible core that resists ground and wheel pressure.
100% TIGHTNESS OF JOINT WITH NO ROOT GROWTH
Joint tightness is the result of application of latched sealing elements that are made from resistant rubber and located in the groove inside the pipe neck. The tightness properties remain even after deformation or misalignment of the pipes.
THICKER WALL = HIGHER SAFETY
The KG-System (PVC)® pipes and fittings are manufactured to meet the specifications of current European standards EN 1401-1 and prEN 13 476, which prescribe higher wall thickness than the formerly applied DIN 19534.
WIDE SCOPE OF APPLICATION, EASY INSPECTION
The KG-System (PVC)® represents a full-scale system with a wide selection of components - pipes of ring stiffness SN 4 and SN 8, which allow additional insertion of new components; the system may also be connected to other installations (e.g., inspection wells).
QUICK INSTALLATION, EASY POSITIONING
The lightweight components of the system allow for easy handling even in the case of 5 metre pipes. Joining the pipes is very easy, thanks to the pipe neck with the sealing element. Also the number of joints alone is lower than before when older components from heavy materials were used.
Maximal operating temperatures can be found in individual catalogues of waste and sewage systems and sealing.
|Sealing||Area of application- temperatures|
|SBR (at the producer /within the range of Work)||cca. -50°C up to +100°C|
|EPDM||cca. -50°C up to +150°C|
|NBR (can be ordered separately)||cca. -30°C up to +100°C|
|SBR||Improved abrasion resistance and age resistance, good resistance against operating liquids|
|EPDM||Excellent fastness to abrasion, ageing and fastness to most of operating liquids|
|NBR||Versatile material. Sealing for contact with mineral oil or fuels. Poor resistance against ozone and weather resistance.|
|KG-System (PVC)® (DN 110 - DN 500)||according to the standard ČSN EN 13476 a ČSN EN 1401-1|
Our KG-System (PVC)® products are manufactured in classes SN 4 and SN 8, KG 2000 . Polypropylene® products are manufactured in the class SN 8 and MAGNACOR in the class SN8.
We can recommend KG 2000 Polypropylene®, or HT-System (PP) ® with sealing rings made of NBR as the case may be.
There is no fire load from pipes buried in the ground (KG-System (PVC) ® and KG 2000 Polypropylene®). Therefore classification of sewage pipes is not needed.
The sealing of systems BL, DD and Euro L Spezial are resistant against water with maximal volume of chlorine 0,6 mg/l.
„PVC-U" means PVC without content of softeners. „U" means „un-plasticised". At this application of hard PVC the additives such as softeners are not used. In addition to high hardness and stability of size the material is also characterized by excellent chemical resistance.
„Placement in the area of ground water is possible only if it is ensured that the embankment material is not dislocated and shifted (e.g. embedding the fine gravel in concrete to the filtration layer)".
„During works in the area of ground water it is necessary to ensure that the bearing/supporting layer of placement does not contain water during the construction work implementation."
„The zone of pipework must be protected against each predictable change of bearing capacity, stability or the bed when such change can be a result of the ground water action for example".
Be so kind and contact us if you have doubts about suitability of the sewage piping placement. In such case we will carry out an analysis of structure.
We have the “leak tightness at external over-pressure” test record of the manufacturer of sealing rings at our disposal. The manufacturer is the firm M.O.L. and the test record is dated 14th July 2004). The test was conducted against the external pressure action in the height of 0,5 bar (5m of water column).
No, it cannot. The piping is not classified according to the fire - resistance according to B1 (like HT-System (PP)®) or B2 (as Skolan dB).
No, it cannot. Among other things, this provision serves for elimination of the backwater formation and formation of retained amount inside the system.
Below surfaces loaded by transport: 1,0 m
Below the surfaces without transport: 0,8 m
The permitted overlapping height depends on numerous factors and therefore it is necessary to carry out the analysis of structure in case of doubts. Such analysis is carried out with the help of the program prepared specially for such purposes. The technical staff of our firm will be pleased to carry out the analysis of structure for you.
No, it is not.
No, it is not. It is not allowed to take the piping of the rain water and sewage water inside the building together. The piping can be directed into the joint piping only outside the buildings (near the connecting channel on the boundary of the property).
The exception will become valid if the border development is concerned. In such case it is permissible that the rain water piping and sewage water piping is drained together inside the building. .
Yes, it can. It is allowed. The PVC can be glued because it can expand in esters, ketones, chlorinated hydrocarbons and several other solvents, or even the PVC is soluble in the above-mentioned materials.
The pipes with slide-in sleeves / couplings are usually placed in such manner that the sharp end is in direction of flowing. The sharp end is sliding into the sleeve / coupling.The quote from Manual of plastic pipes (4th issue, paragraph 3.4.4 Construction of the sewage water channels and piping, page 463)
Thus the piping placement in direction of flowing is clearly defined.
Yes, it is possible. It is possible to implement waste water draining from pumping stations (oils, lubricants, glycol, methane, propane, butane, hydrocarbons, fuel oil, etc.), with the help of both of above-mentioned systems, if NBR sealing is used.
This is not defect. The lines are determined by the production technology. They are seams of the tool separation (they can be slightly elevated and thus touchable). The lines are results of activity of both halves of the tool, or they are seams done as result of running down in which the material injected flows down into one/together (can be distinguished as a darker line).
